November 6th, 2009

The market will open down. It means that SPY will gap down below 106.50. Again watch SPY closely about closing the morning gap.

  1. All DIA, SPY and QQQQ closed the morning gap in less than 15 minutes.

  2. spy reversed off of resistance 1

    R1 107.34 high was 107.40

S1 is 105.9.. which is close to this mornings low 106.05.. not sure we will make them.. we might.. and if we do, not sure if we will rally back to 106.80 or fall further on a friday

  3. BAS, I believe the SPY will trade between the range of 106 to 107.5 for the rest of today.

  6. Nope.. don't care much for it.. 1 step after dribble has become as many as 4. Pretty pathetic.

But I do sneak some Lebron in at times.

  7. I think Lebron will never win a championship ring at all before he retires. His supporting casts are bad. He will be in a company with John Stockton, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkely and Chris Webber area.

  8. Today the volume is light. Maybe lots of investors are out there in New York celebrating the Yankees parade. What can we expect the market next week? If SPY opens around 108 to 108.5, short away on Monday. Also you can short the QQQQ at 42.80 to 43 range.

  9. GCL, you don't think a double top on SPY and new highs for Q's?

    Do you see that?

  10. Matt, it could be. Anything is possible.
But I believe the market will follow the same pattern as USO in the last 3 trading days. When I posted at 2:17 PM, it is one of the scenarios that can happen on Monday opening.
