SPY had trouble breaking above 109.75. If it does, it will go back up to fill the yesterday morning gap. If SPY breaks below 109, it is going back down to 108.

  11. Matt, u r killing me! LOL.. Back in the day at the daytrading shop, I had the filthiest mouth.. the louder I cussed, the more I knew I was on the wrong side of the trade. When I got to my boiling point of being wrong, I would book my losers and go long or vice versa. It was a great trading strategy. Now that I am quiet, and trading at home, I don't "feel" the pain and hold my losers too long. bouncing off 109. wtf?

  14. How much do you all think OPEX will play into todays market movements. I would hate to see a jam job at end of day. Not sure whic way they are gonna take the market with OPEX. If we spike lower, I will cover half of my positions just for this reason. hope I get the opportunity

  22. Should have stuck to my guns and held..but spy flipping back under 109.39 was enough to scare me. it had some resistance there, then some support and then none..

oh well.. left some on the table..

on vacation next week.. will be trading at 'home'.

  25. As of right now, SPG has broken its one month uptrend line. DRV and SRS could be a good play next week. Along with TZA...small cap triple short fund. professor from CA just detailed what I have been saying about small cap stocks, they are underperform the general market and internals are deteriorating.

  26. I hope we gap up huge monday, rally to fill that damn gap and then short entry there. Prob. is it is a Holiday week and not sure if the powers that be will be able to hold market up thru holiday shortened week.
