gcl, so far the market is making lower high and lower low each day, but... they need to roll this thing soon, or we will get a short squeeze to fill yesterdays gap. I am long SDS and feeling the heat.
this place is a govt reject dump. just tables! and we only have book cases in between us to keep us from see the bald spot on the guy in front of us all day. lol.
yeah.. we got our old stickler back as he was just demoted. so just being more careful than before.. ;)
newsletters of mine called for support today..so I was watching the support 1 (108.9966) get tagged this morning (109.02 hit).. wanted to go long upro.. looked like a stop run, indicators neutral/bullish(TRIN). probably would have bailed around 109.40.. but it ran up nice all the way as that 10 am reversal wasn't strong...a nice $1.50 gain on upro, if not double that if I had the balls to hold to 109.90...
Anyways, if I was to really try this, it would keep on running down! that's my luck!
BAS, I have worked with people like that before. Sometimes they micro manage you till death. They reported everything what you do - the time you come in, how long your lunch, the time you leave, how much time you spend on your desk, how often you go to the restroom, etc.
Although I felt uncomfortable with the environment, I still delivery my work on time and above their expectation. So now they just leave me alone because they know I can do the work. Do you ever watch "Gladiator" movie? There is a saying in the movie. "Win the crowd, you will win your freedom". Something like that. Well, I guess I won the crowd and I got my freedom.
Highlights The monthly 10-year note auction proved weak, posting a soft bid-to-cover ratio of 2.62, down from last month's 2.81 despite a much lower auction size ($21 billion vs. $25 billion). The auction tailed badly with the high yield of 3.448 percent more than 4 basis points over the 1:00 bid. Money moved out of Treasuries following the results, results that will raise questions over tomorrow's $13 billion 30-year bond auction.
The market is making lower high and lower low each day now.
